ADULT ACTIVITIES

Toucheng Leisure Farm educates all age groups in being environmentally friendly. We would like to introduce you one of our adult activities!

Let´s visit bamboo forest!

Bamboo is a very special woody plant. It is the largest kind of grass in the world, grow fast (about 100 cm in 24 hours) and has many possibilities of usage. We bring our visitors to bamboo forest to let them blend into nature and to act in accordance with its life.

Visitors learn how to take care of bamboo forest. Sometimes it is necesarry to cut some bamboos, because they proliferate fast and they need its own space to grow, so we teach customers the way to cut them with special knife called machete. It could be fun for someone and also hard work for somebody else, but everyone get new interesting feelings and realize necessity of looking after nature!

Visitors take care of bamboo forest by themselves

Usage of bamboo is, as we have already said, very wide. People can produce bamboo furniture, decorate their houses, build shelters for animals, fences, create toys, use it in the kitchen as a bowl or pan, eat its healthy bamboo shoots and many others. Using cutted bamboos and not throwing them away means to live environmentally friendly. Our visitors do it right here in Toucheng Leisure Farm and get into the issue by a very entertaining way! Because being environmentally friendly is fun!

These visitors used bamboo as a tool for cooking

Bamboos are already filled with rice, vegetable, meat, fish balls and other ingredients

We steam prepared bamboos (20-60 minutes)

Meanwhile can customers roast Toucheng Leisure Farm´s chicken

Final result? Customers are enjoying "home made" delicious meals and also being environmentally friendly

Due to all bamboo´s benefits people should appreciate this plant a lot, protect it and be happy about their environmentally friendly acting!

As a very relaxing present, which can our visitors get from nature is to practise yoga in an amazing environment, breathe fresh air and refresh themselves in a crystal clear mountain water!

Our experienced instructor practise yoga with our visitors

Getting energy from nature and becoming highly relaxed
